This is a video that was recorded in Nov. 2003 at Los Angeles. Again a new speed world record with LEHNER motors!
Jörg Mrkwitschka pushed up his own world record for electrical race boats (102 mph of 2002) to 120.7 mph! With a LEHNER motor, type 2250/7 Hi-Amp,(soon to be available in the shops), driven by 32 NiMH cells 3.3 Ah.
It travels 98.169 Meters (109,08 yards) in 1,83 secs ! 120 mp/h = 193,12 km/h !
Over 20 flys in to Princess Julianne airport daily. Only once there was a landing issue where the plane came down to low and hit the 12 foot chain link fence.
Around 4pm, when the planes depart the airport, that is when you want to get away from the beach area. Air France turns on those jets for take off and the whole beach area gets sand blasted.
